From wreaths to fabric pumpkins, each design will be original and fun. You will be guided through the process and will start with the basics, gradually moving on to more difficult designs. You’ll have a blast crafting these extraordinary decorations. These pieces make a great accent to any decor. Participants are encouraged to let their creativity flow and create their own unique craft. These courses are suitable for all levels, and no prior experience is required. In each course, you will be provided with the tools and materials needed to complete each project.

You will only be crafting a candy cane wreath in this course. This is part of a five-course series taught by the instructor.

European Christmas Cookies: Linzer, Zimtsterne, Kolaczki, and Pizzelles

Dickens Christmas, a holiday tradition, is celebrated each year in Skaneateles, NY. Charles Dickens and his cast of characters welcome you to the annual Dickens Festival. Step back in time and celebrate the holidays the old-fashioned way at the Dickens Christmas Festival. At your leisure (and own cost) enjoy horse-drawn wagon rides around the village, carolers, street theater, roasted chestnuts, and hot chocolate. The street performances entertain throughout the day through 4:00 p.m. and there’s plenty of shopping for those perfect holiday gifts at the over 70 unique gift shops, boutiques, and eateries. We will be at the festival from noon – 4:00 p.m. Plan ahead by visiting www.skaneateles.com for those who like to preplan. Following the festivities, we will travel a short distance to the Spring Side Inn, an Auburn favorite.  Enjoy a plated sit-down dinner included at this historic inn, located on the North end of Owasco Lake. Please choose one entrée’ when making a reservation: #1-Chicken French - sauteed egg battered chicken in a lemon white wine butter sauce; #2- tender pot roast; or #3-baked haddock in lemon butter sauce.

Whether you're looking to shop for unique gifts, indulge in delicious food and drinks, or simply soak in the festive atmosphere, the Toronto Christmas Market is the perfect place to do it. Make sure to mark your calendar and plan a visit during your time in Toronto. Visit the St. Lawrence Market - a piece of Toronto history. For each of their vendors, merchants, and artisans, the Market is their life's work. Their pride, care, and singular passion is the reason, over 210 years later, the Market continues to thrive. This two-level indoor market is yours to shop, browse and enjoy. Next is the Christmas Market at Toronto's Distillery Historic District. Get ready to get into the holiday spirit. Christmas time comes alive at the Toronto Distillery District, a yearly tradition in the city. Enjoy some festive treats, shop at the local stores, sip a decadent hot chocolate, and take a selfie beside the giant 150-foot Christmas tree.
