We are pleased to offer the following trips and tours with Scenic Excursions. Plan a fun outing with family or friends and leave all the arrangements to us! All trips will leave from the Eastern Hills Mall, 4545 Transit Road, Williamsville, 14221 (EH). Park in the rear of the mall near the food court entrance - halfway back in the lot.

We will travel the scenic route to CORNING, NY. We will be greeted upon arrival at the CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS. Enjoy a SELF-GUIDED TOUR of the Museum. See the HOT GLASS SHOW and enjoy the museum at your leisure. LUNCH is included at the CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS WITH VOUCHER.  This voucher will pay for your entire lunch, and perhaps have a bit left over to purchase a souvenir (or snack) to bring home. This afternoon, you will have a FUN WITH GLASS ACTIVITY included in your Corning Experience. MAKE YOUR OWN UNIQUE SUNCATCHER.  You’ll start by creating a design using colored frit (small chunks of glass), thin glass strings, and larger glass pieces. Museum staff will provide glass in a variety of colors and shapes for you to arrange in your design. You’ll secure your design in place, and Corning professionals will heat the piece in the kiln oven overnight. The glass fuses together to create a single piece of glass.

Pieces must cool overnight and will be shipped to us. There will be a meeting time to pick up your masterpiece.

Our first stop will be DAFFIN’S CANDIES, renowned for its delicious selection of homemade chocolates. Next, step back in time with a GUIDED TOUR OF TARA - A COUNTRY INN. This stunning Greek Revival mansion themed after Gone With the Wind, offers a glimpse into Southern hospitality and the grandeur of days gone by. Originally a modest farmhouse built in 1854, it was transformed into the stately Tara you’ll see today. Perched high on a hill overlooking what was once Clarksville, Ohio, this beautiful antebellum home is sure to leave you with unforgettable memories. Our visit to Tara will include a delicious FAMILY-STYLE LUNCH AT TARA, where you’ll dine in true Southern elegance. Our journey continues to KRAYNAK’S CHRISTMAS LAND, a magical wonderland with over 85 uniquely themed Christmas trees, each beautifully decorated to capture the spirit of the season. Although it’s not the holiday season, Kraynak’s is a must-see year-round! Browse their extensive selection of festive décor from around the world and take home a bit of Christmas magic. We’ll wrap up our day with a visit to THE CHEESE HOUSE. While famous for its variety of cheeses, this shop also boasts specialty foods, Amish jams and jellies, Pennsylvania maple syrup, and over 13,000 square feet of unique gifts and treats under one roof. Rest stop both ways.

Head to HAMMONDSPORT– America’s Coolest small town! Enjoy a fantastic SIT-DOWN LUNCHEON AT SENECA HARBOR STATION highlighting their Pierside Platter. Following lunch, board CAPTAIN BILL’S for a 50-minute SIGHTSEEING CRUISE. Discover the beauty and charm of Seneca Lake as it can only be seen from the water. You will be captivated by Hector Falls at 165 ft., the majestic cliffs of the east shore with Native American paintings, and a view of the salt industry. The sights and sounds of this ageless body of water invite you aboard our one-hour cruise, a tradition of Captain Bill’s since 1908. This afternoon, we will visit SAUDERS MENNONITE STORE located in Seneca Falls. Welcome to Sauders! Enjoy a visit to this unique Country Store in Seneca Falls. Mr. Sauder started it all in the front room of his house, and today, more than 40 years later, you will not be disappointed. We welcome you to come & discover our farm fresh produce, fresh & smoked meats, Dutch Country Bakery, Swiss Deli & Cheese Shoppe, & Country Cookin Café where you may wish to buy a snack for the travels home.
