Watercolor Painting: Beginner to Intermediate

Throughout this class, you'll learn: how to select and care for watercolor supplies; fundamental techniques; color theory, and mixing for vibrant, harmonious results; composition basics and how to plan a painting. Each class includes demonstrations, guided exercises, and personal feedback in a supportive, encouraging environment. By the end of the class, students will have created a small portfolio of finished works and gained the confidence to continue exploring watercolor on their own. No prior experience required.
A materials fee of $20 per person is due and payable to the instructor on the first day of the class. Please bring paper towels, a water bowl or jar, a pencil, a few tissues, and painter's tape to class. The class will not meet on 10/15/25.

You will create 4 bars of handmade soap, which will be cured after class and will be ready just in time for holiday gift-giving, or for you to enjoy yourself.
