Comfort in a Bowl: Two Decadent Autumn Soups and Crackers

Hey there, fellow soup enthusiasts! Ready to cozy up with a bowl of autumn goodness? During this class, you'll discover the secrets for making two savory, from-scratch soups: Firehouse Chicken Chowder and Roasted Pumpkin Bisque. Alongside these soups, you will hand-craft artisanal crackers from scratch. It's easier than you think and just as delicious as you imagine. These seasonal soups are like a warm hug on a chilly night – creamy, comforting, and bursting with autumn flavors. They are so easy to make, you’ll feel like a kitchen pro in no time. Whether you’re cooking for your family or hosting friends, these soups are sure to impress. So let your culinary adventures begin, and let’s create some delicious memories together! Participants will enjoy a tasting of their warm soup during class and will take home a pint of their homemade soup, along with their freshly made crackers.

ZUMBA®

This class is perfect for everybody and every body! Each Zumba® class is designed to bring people together to sweat it on. We take the "work" out of a workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. Once the Latin and World rhythms take over, you'll see why Zumba® Fitness classes are often called exercise in disguise. Super effective? Check. Super fun? Check and check. A total workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance and flexibility, boosted energy, and a serious dose of awesome each time you leave class. Get a full-body workout while forgetting you’re even exercising by joining the Zumba dance party!

Thai Street Food

Thai cuisine is full of aromatic ingredients, cooking styles, and dish decorations. In this online interactive class, we’ll make 3 popular and delicious Thai dishes from scratch, including Thai vermicelli salad, Thai coconut soup, and pad Thai with chicken.
This class will be online via Zoom. You will receive the ingredient list, the complete recipe packet, and the Zoom link at least three days before the class start date. No refunds will be given after the complete recipe packet is sent out.

This educational program explores the role of the caregiver and changes they may experience, building a support team, and managing caregiver stress.
Low-Impact Strength and Conditioning
with Alyssa Rohring

This class is designed to improve muscular strength, endurance, mobility, and overall fitness without placing excessive stress on the joints. Ideal for anyone interested in learning about strength training, and those who have more experience as well! This class can be modified or advanced as needed. Our course combines controlled resistance training with functional movement patterns and flexibility work. Participants will use body weight exercises, light weights, and other low-impact tools to have a great workout! Emphasis is placed on proper form, breathing, and gradual progression to promote long-term health and injury prevention. You must be able to able to get up and down from the floor.
Please wear comfortable clothing, bring a water bottle, an exercise mat, and a light set of dumbbells ranging from 5-20 lbs. (optional), based on ability, to class. The class will not meet on 11/11/25.
Two-Steppin’ Tuesdays: Beginner Line Dancing
with Mary and Bill Morgan

Get ready to move, groove, and have a blast in this fun and energetic line dancing class! Whether you're a complete beginner or have some dance experience, this class offers an upbeat, welcoming environment where you’ll learn easy-to-follow choreography to a variety of music styles—from country classics to pop hits. No partner needed—just bring your enthusiasm and a willingness to learn! Line dancing is a great way to improve coordination, boost your fitness, and meet new friends. Each session builds on the last, so you’ll be strutting your stuff in no time.
Worn-out sneakers or leather shoes are recommended with a sole that will slide. Written dance sheets will be provided.
The class will not meet on November 11, 2025.
R3 Weight Loss Plan and Support
with Linda Feagin

In this class, you will learn how to shift your body from fat-storage mode to fat-burning mode and eat foods you like. You can look forward to losing weight and learning how to maintain a healthy weight. An overview from a wellness company will be presented to introduce more tools to help with the 6-week eating plan. Supportive ideas and recipes as well as numerous success stories, will be shared on a Facebook group (R3 Weight Loss Plan) with over 150,000 participants. Anyone can do this 6-week eating plan! You will be given all the necessary instructions to help guide your meal choices. No counting calories, there are Yes and No lists of foods. You can choose whatever you want from these lists. Shopping lists and meal planning will be included in this class. Invite your friends and use this season to lose some weight and be a healthier you!
Please bring paper and pen to class.
