Hall Walking

Stay active and healthy—no matter the weather! Join our Hall Walking program and enjoy a safe, comfortable, and social way to get your steps in. Walk at your own pace through our indoor Elementary School hallways, free from ice, heat, or rain. This self-paced program is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Meet new friends, track your progress, and make movement part of your daily routine.

Please wear comfortable clothing and good, comfortable walking shoes or sneakers. You may bring a water bottle, or water fountains are available. 

Hall walkers must register for each session for security purposes.

There will be no hall walking on 2/16/26, 2/18/26, 4/6/26, and 4/8/26.

Hooked on Crochet: From First Stitch to Masterpiece

Join a friendly, hands-on class that welcomes all levels! Whether you’re picking up a crochet hook for the first time or looking to master advanced stitches, this course will help you grow your skills at your own pace. Learn the basics of yarn selection, patterns, and essential stitches, then progress to more intricate techniques, textures, and project design. Work at your own level with expert guidance and encouragement every step of the way. You’ll create a variety of beautiful handmade projects—from dishcloths and hats to charming stuffed animals—and advance to dressy shawls, scarves, intricate potholders, and modern, not-so-granny crochet pieces. You will gain confidence to tackle any crochet pattern.  Enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere as you develop and showcase your growing skills, exchange ideas, and leave with tangible progress—and a growing love for crochet. All are welcome—just bring your creativity and curiosity!

Please bring a pencil, a project bag (big enough to hold yarn and your project), and a small pouch (pencil case) to hold crochet tools and scissors. 

A materials fee of $10 per person (for hooks, stitch markers, needle, and yarn) is due and payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

Stitch & Carry: Beginner Tote Bag Sewing Workshop

Get ready for a Challenge Island adventure that will go down in history! You and your STEAM Team will travel back and forth through time as you engineer your way through exciting destinations like ancient Egypt’s Pyramid Peak, California’s Gold Rush Mountain, and the groovy 1970s Pinball Wizard Arcade. You’ll even build your own Challenge Island Robot Mascot on this timeless island! Dim Sum for Beginners

Discover the delicious world of dim sum! Dim sum is a popular style of Cantonese cuisine that includes small dishes highlighting different flavor profiles and cooking techniques. In this online interactive class, you’ll learn the basics of making traditional dishes that are perfect for sharing with family and friends. We will cover simple techniques and prepare cha shu chicken pastry, braised chicken with mushrooms, and vegetables in a ginger garlic sauce. Recipes that you can recreate at home. No prior experience needed—just bring your appetite and curiosity!

This class will be online via Zoom. You will receive the ingredient list, the complete recipe packet, and the Zoom link at least three days before the class start date. No refunds will be given after the complete recipe packet is sent out.

Estate Planning Basics: Advance Directives and Planning

During the class, we will discuss Last Wills and Testaments, Trusts, Health Care Proxies with Living Wills, and Durable General Powers of Attorney. We will also talk about deed transfers and Medicaid planning.
