American Heart Association Heartsaver® CPR/AED Training
with Roger Schreader
This course will teach participants to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac and breathing emergencies and how to give immediate care to a suddenly injured or ill person until more advanced medical personnel arrive and take over. Participants will receive an American Heart Association CPR/AED certificate upon completion of the course valid for two years.

Kick-Starting the Creative Writing Process

Everyone has a story to tell, and there are limitless ways to share that story! Join veteran writing teacher Gina Merlo as she leads an introductory 8-week course in initiating one's creative writing process. Structured for writers over 18, each session will engage students in a variety of activities to enhance their ability to generate their voice and bring ideas to the page - in whichever genre, format, perspective, or style works for the writer. Each 90-minute class will dedicate 45 minutes to our writing activities, with 45 minutes set aside for silent writing space. Please note that this is not a critique class, as we are focused on the beginning stages of one's writing journey.
A supply list will be provided at the first class meeting. The class will not meet on October 16.
