Hooked on Crochet: From First Stitch to Masterpiece

with Mary Dunning

$90

Join a friendly, hands-on class that welcomes all levels! Whether you’re picking up a crochet hook for the first time or looking to master advanced stitches, this course will help you grow your skills at your own pace. Learn the basics of yarn selection, patterns, and essential stitches, then progress to more intricate techniques, textures, and project design. Work at your own level with expert guidance and encouragement every step of the way. You’ll create a variety of beautiful handmade projects—from dishcloths and hats to charming stuffed animals—and advance to dressy shawls, scarves, intricate potholders, and modern, not-so-granny crochet pieces. You will gain confidence to tackle any crochet pattern.  Enjoy a relaxed, social atmosphere as you develop and showcase your growing skills, exchange ideas, and leave with tangible progress—and a growing love for crochet. All are welcome—just bring your creativity and curiosity!

Please bring a pencil, a project bag (big enough to hold yarn and your project), and a small pouch (pencil case) to hold crochet tools and scissors.

A materials fee of $10 per person (for hooks, stitch markers, needle, and yarn) is due and payable to the instructor on the first day of class.

The class will not meet on 2/16/26 and 4/6/26.
