The halls of Wilson Elementary School are open for walking! What better way to exercise than walking! Get out and get active! Whether you enjoy a brisk walk or leisurely stroll, this is the perfect setting

Please wear comfortable clothing and good, comfortable walking shoes or sneakers. You may bring a water bottle, or water fountains are available. This exercise is designed for all ages and levels.

Hall walkers must register for each session for security purposes.

There will be no hall walking on 1/20/25, 2/17/25, 2/19/25, 4/14/25, 4/16/25, and 4/21/25.

This class is for you if you find yourself stressed constantly, haven’t taken a deep breath all day, feel constant aches and pains throughout your body, or crave a moment of peace and stillness. We will spend this hour of yoga moving slowly through sequences of poses that will stretch the body and bring awareness to areas that we may ignore daily. Classes will include different pranayamas (breathing practices) or meditations to provide relaxation beyond our physical body. Yogis of all levels are welcome to attend! Modifications can be provided for any pose and we will work together to find the right modification to suit your skill level. 

Please bring a yoga mat and water to class and wear comfortable clothing. The class will not meet on April 16, 2025.

Get a head start on the language by joining us for an educationally oriented curriculum that is specifically designed for the K-5 student to learn the Spanish language. This unique and exciting program features foundation vocabulary introduced through games, singing, and fun activities. Students are able to compound words and begin forming simple sentences. Early introduction increases the student’s ability to absorb rather than translate the language. If you have taken a Spanish Club class previously, new vocabulary is introduced with each session - never a repeat. Class is open to new and returning students! Join the fun! We are pleased to offer the following trips and tours with Scenic Excursions. Plan a fun outing with family or friends and leave all the arrangements to us! Just show up ready for adventure and enjoy the day! All trips that include show tickets are assured good seating. You will receive confirmation of your trip directly from Scenic Excursions. 

All trips will leave from the Eastern Hills Mall, 4545 Transit Road, Williamsville, 14221 (EH). Park in the rear of the mall near the food court entrance - halfway back in the lot.

We will travel the scenic route to CORNING, NY. We will be greeted upon arrival at the CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS. Enjoy a SELF-GUIDED TOUR of the Museum. See the HOT GLASS SHOW and enjoy the museum at your leisure. LUNCH is included at the CORNING MUSEUM OF GLASS WITH VOUCHER.  This voucher will pay for your entire lunch, and perhaps have a bit left over to purchase a souvenir (or snack) to bring home. This afternoon, you will have a FUN WITH GLASS ACTIVITY included in your Corning Experience. MAKE YOUR OWN UNIQUE SUNCATCHER.  You’ll start by creating a design using colored frit (small chunks of glass), thin glass strings, and larger glass pieces. Museum staff will provide glass in a variety of colors and shapes for you to arrange in your design. You’ll secure your design in place, and Corning professionals will heat the piece in the kiln oven overnight. The glass fuses together to create a single piece of glass.

Pieces must cool overnight and will be shipped to us. There will be a meeting time to pick up your masterpiece.
